|a إن إيقاع العصر الحديث، وتطور وسائل الإعلام والفضائيات، والتأثير المباشر بين الحضارات، أدى إلى حدوث تغيرات كبيرة وسريعة في عالم الموضة حيث أن كل الأزياء والموضات الحديثة تستقي تصميماتها ومدلولاتها من القديم. ولكنها تقوم بتطويره وتحديثه وعمل دمج بين الثقافات والحضارات، مما قد ينتج عنه تصميمات حديثة. لذا فقد اتجه مصممو الأزياء إلى البحث الدائم عن كل ما هو جديد في عالم الأزياء ويلجأ الكثير من مصممي الموضة العالميين إلى العودة إلى التاريخ من أجل البحث عن مصدراً خصباً لإثراء الموضة المعاصرة وتحتاج تصوير الروايات التاريخية سواء مسرح أو السينما أو تليفزيون إلى خلق جو من الواقعية لا يتأتى إلا بدراسة تاريخ الأزياء. والدراسة التاريخية للأزياء ما هي إلا مرآة للفنون التشكيلية التي توضح مدى التقدم الحضاري للشعوب في فترة زمنية ما، حيث تعكس الفنون روح الثقافة العامة والطراز السائد في ذلك الوقت، وتوضح الذوق العام والمثل الجمالية السائدة، وفن الأزياء ينطلق متأثرا بالطراز العام لأي عصر. يتم من خلال هذه الدراسة عرض وصفي تحليلي للعصر العثماني وأزياء العصر العثماني وبالأحرى الفترة من 1520م إلى 1566م وهي الفترة الذهبية التي أوصل فيها السلطان سليمان القانوني بحكمه الدولة العثمانية إلى ذروتها، وقد تم تناول هذه الفترة في مسلسل درامي تركي ضخم باسم "القرن العظيم" أو ما يسمي في العالم العربي "حريم السلطان". كما يتم دراسة مدى تطابق أزياء المسلسل مع أزياء العصر العثماني نفسه، بالإضافة إلى عمل دراسة تطبيقيه لاستخدام أزياء العصر العثماني كمصدر إلهامي لتصميم الأزياء المعاصرة. وقد أشارت نتائج البحث إلى ثراء الفترة التي تم دراستها من حيث كونها مصدر إلهام في تصميم الأزياء، كما أمكن تصميم مجموعة معاصرة من الأزياء المستلهمة من أزياء هذه الفترة.

But it is developing and modernizing it and integrating cultures and civilizations, which may result in modern designs. So the designers of the uniforms went to the permanent search for many new designers in the world of fashion, many world fashion designers have come back to history to look for a rich source of contemporary fashion. Historical novels, theater, cinema or television need to create an atmosphere of realism that can only be studied by the history of fashion. The historical study of the decorations is a mirror of the formative arts that illustrate the cultural progress of the peoples in a period of time. The arts reflect the spirit of public culture and the prevailing styles at the time, and illustrate the general taste and the prevailing beauty. The art of colors emanates from the general style of any age. Through this study, an analytical descriptive presentation of the Ottoman era and the fashion of the Ottoman era and the period from 1520 to 1566, the golden period in which Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent was brought to its climax by the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire. This period was covered in a huge Turkish drama called "The Great Century" What is called in the Arab world "Harem Sultan". The study also examines the extent to which the fashion of the series matches the fashion of the Ottoman era itself, as well as the study of its application to the use of the Ottoman era fashion as an inspiration for contemporary fashion design. The results of the research indicate the richness of the period studied as a source of inspiration in fashion design, and the design of a contemporary collection of costumes inspired by the fashion of this period.
