المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى تعرف درجة مساهمة الجامعة في تدعيم ثقافة المواطنة لدى الطلبة الجامعيين. وتعرف الفروق بين متوسطات إجابات أفراد عينة البحث على استبانة ثقافة المواطنة تبعا لمتغيري البحث: (التخصص الجامعي، المستوى التعليمي للوالدين). واعتمد الباحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، واستخدم استبانة (تدعيم ثقافة المواطنة) من إعدادها مكونة من ستة مجالات. وشملت عينة البحث (338) طالبا وطالبة من طلبة جامعة دمشق. ومن أهم النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث: 1) إن متوسط المحاور كلها، ومتوسط بنود كل محور إلى تقدير متوسط لدور الجامعة في تدعيم ثقافة المواطنة لدى الطلبة الجامعيين، إذ بلغ الوزن النسبي لاستجابة عينة البحث في الدرجة الكلية للاستبانة (70.86%). 2) عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05) بين متوسطات درجات إجابات عينة البحث على استبانة ثقافة المواطنة تبعا لمتغير التخصص الجامعي. 3) وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05) بين متوسطات درجات إجابات عينة البحث على استبانة ثقافة المواطنة تبعا لمتغير المستوى التعليمي للوالدين لصالح الطلبة الذين كان المستوى التعليمي لوالديهم (دبلوم فأعلى).

The purpose of the research is to identify the degree to which the university contributes to the consolidation of the culture of citizenship among university students. The differences between the average responses of the individuals in the research sample are based on the identification of the culture of citizenship according to the variables of the research: (university specialization, educational level of the parents). The researcher adopted the analytical descriptive approach, and used the questionnaire (strengthening the culture of citizenship) prepared by six areas. The sample included 338 students from Damascus University. Among the most important findings of the research: 1) The average of all axes, and the average items of each axis to an average estimate of the role of the university in strengthening the culture of citizenship among university students, the relative weight of the response of the sample of the research in the total score of the questionnaire (70.86%). 2) There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the responses of the research sample on the identification of the culture of citizenship according to the variable of the university specialization. 3) There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the responses of the sample of the research on the identification of the culture of citizenship according to the variable educational level of the parents for the benefit of the students who had the educational level of their parents (Diploma and above).
