المستخلص: لقد درس هذا البحث حرف الجر (من) من ناحية اختلاف دلالاته، والخلاف في المعنى الأصلي لهذا الحرف، وأهم المسائل العقدية والفقهية التي تأثرت باختلاف دلالات (من)، وبين مدى أثر هذا الحرف في استنباط الأحكام. ولكي يتحقق هذا؛ قسم البحث إلى أربعة مطالب: فالأول كان الحديث فيه عن التعريف بمفردات العنوان: بحرف الجر (من)، والدلالة، واستنباط الأحكام الشرعية. وطرق الثاني دلالات حرف الجر (من) وقد توصل إلى خمسة عشر معنى. وناقش الثالث الخلاف في أصل معنى حرف الجر (من) هل هو ابتداء الغاية أو التبعيض أو التبيين، ورجح الأول. وأما الرابع فقد استقرأ بعض المسائل التطبيقية لأثر اختلاف دلالات حرف الجر (من) في استنباط الأحكام الشرعية، وقد ذكر تسع مسائل. لينتهي البحث بعد ذلك بخاتمة تضمنت تلخيصا لأهم النتائج، وأوصت بأن تدرس بقية حروف المعاني بدراسات مستقلة استقصائية، كل حرف على حدة.

This preposition has been studied from the point of view of the variation of its significances, the hermeneutical difference on its source meaning and the salient theological and juristic issues that are influenced by the variation of its meaning. The study has also highlighted the extent to which this preposition influences the process of inferring legal rules from scriptural texts. To achieve this goal, the research has been divided into four sections: the first section deals with defining the words constituting the title, namely, the preposition ‘min’, ‘Dilaalah’ (significance), Istinbaat’(inferring) and ‘A1 Ahkaam Al-Shariyyah’ (Islamic rules). The second section deals with the significances of the preposition ‘min’ which amount to fifteen significances. The third section discusses the difference of opinion on the source meaning of the preposition ‘min’: whether it marks the start towards a destination; or it signifies some of a whole, or it is used for clarification. The first [of these three] is the most tenable according to this study. The fourth section is an exploration of the practical cases that demonstrate how the difference on the meaning of the preposition ‘min’ impacts the inferring of legal rules from scriptural texts. Nine cases have been explored in this study. The research ends up with a conclusion summarizing the most important findings and recommending that similar inclusive studies have to be conducted on other Arabic prepositions in terms of their meaning individually.
