المستخلص: يهدف البحث إلى الوقوف على الخلفيات الفكرية لمفهوم اقتصاد المعرفة، وأهم متطلبات تحقيق بناء اقتصاد المعرفة، وتعرف مدى الدور الذي تقوم به كلية التربية النوعية جامعة الزقازيق للإسهام في بناء اقتصاد المعرفة، كنموذج دراسة حالة، وتحددت مشكلة البحث في عدد من الأسئلة الفرعية، فكان السؤال الأول عن ماهية اقتصاد المعرفة من حيث مفهومة، ونشأته وأهميته، وخصائصه، والثاني عن متطلبات الإسهام في بناء اقتصاد المعرفة، والثالث واقع الدور الذي تقوم به كلية التربية النوعية جامعة الزقازيق للإسهام في بناء اقتصاد المعرفة، والرابع تصور مقترح لتفعيل دور كليات التربية النوعية للإسهام في بناء اقتصاد المعرفة، واعتمد الباحث نظراً لطبيعة أهدافه على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، نظراً لقدرته على فهم الظواهر والوصول إلى رؤى مستقبلية بالإضافة إلى استخدام منهج دراسة الحالة. أما عن الدراسة الميدانية فقد قامت الباحثة بإعداد أداة لجمع البيانات تمثلت في الاستبانة طبقت على (69%) من المجتمع الأصلي لأعضاء هيئة التدريس بكلية التربية النوعية جامعة الزقازيق للوقوف على آرائهم حول الدور الذي تقوم به الكلية للإسهام في بناء اقتصاد المعرفة وبعد إجراء التحليلات الإحصائية توصلت نتائج البحث إلى أن هناك اتفاق من جانب أفراد العينة على وجود أوجه قصور لدور كلية التربية النوعية جامعة الزقازيق في الإسهام لبناء اقتصاد المعرفة وقد تمثل ذلك في استجاباتهم، واختتم البحث بوضع تصور مقترح متضمناً فلسفته، وأهميته، ومتطلباته، وأسسه، وأهم الآليات والتوصيات اللازمة لتنفيذه.

The research aims to identify the intellectual background of the concept " knowledge economy", the most important requirements for achieving the building of knowledge economy and indicating the role of the faculty of Specific Education, Zagazig University in the contribution of building of knowledge economy as a case study. The problem of this research was identified in a number of sub- questions as follows: 1. What is knowledge economy: the definition, characteristics and importance? 2. Requirements for achieving the building of knowledge economy. 3. The role of the faculty of Specific Education, Zagazig University to contribute to the building of knowledge economy. 4. A suggested proposal to activate the role of the faculties of Specific Education in building knowledge economy. The research is based on analytical descriptive methodology because of its ability to understand phenomena and reach to the vision of the future in addition to using the case study methodology. As for the field study, the researcher prepared an instrument to collect the data represented in the questionnaire applied to (%69) of the original community of staff members at the faculty of Specific Education, Zagazig University to find out their views on the role played by the faculty to contribute to the building of knowledge economy. After the statistical analysis, the results of the research showed that there is agreement by the sample members on the existence of deficiencies of the role of the faculty of Specific Education, Zagazig University in contributing to the building of knowledge economy and it appeared in their responses. The research concluded with a suggested proposal including its philosophy, importance, study requirements and the most important mechanisms and recommendations necessary for its implementation.
