This research is devoted to the study of the nominative field of one of the most actual concepts in modem Russian and Arabic languages - the concept of "woman". The analysis is based on the cognitive approach, and its object is the nominative field of the concept "woman", and the subject is the meaning of its constituent lexemes. The purpose of the study is to establish and describe the language tools that make up the core of the nominative field of the concept. The keyword that most nominates the researched concept is the lexical unit-woman in Russian and المرآة in Arabic. Only in Russian, the synonymic series of nouns denoting a woman sucks from the dominant woman and different tokens; a female gender, girl, a lady, an old woman, wife, virgin, young lady, aunt, etc., whereas in Arabic has less number of nominative units امرأة، أنثى الرجل، نساء، نسوة، نسوان ,The following modes of women are typical for both mentality: buy a wife, an evil wife, insult his wife, unfaithful wives, كذبت علز زوجك، خدعك زوجك For the Russian mind, the mother is kind, also it is necessary to satisfy all the desires of the mother, the duties of the mother, to obey the mother, And in the Egyptian consciousness, modes were found: المرأة المستكينة، المعتزة بثقافتها الشعبية، المحبوبة، الأم الجديرة بالاحترام Thus, the concept "woman / "المرأة includes both the universal images inherent in both linguocultures, and specific ones that are absent in one of the compared languages.
