كان النبي محمد (صلي الله عليه وسلم) يختار ما يناسب المواقف، لذلك تنوعت أساليبه وطرقة في التعليم إذ كان (صلي الله عليه وسلم) يراعي الفروق الفردية بين أصحابه، نجده (صلي الله عليه وسلم) يستخدم طرق عدة في تعليم أصحابه مراعيا في ذلك صغيرهم وكبيرهم مستخدما في ذلك أفضل الأساليب من بينها الإشارات التي كانت تغني في كثير من الأحيان عن النطق، فكان (صلي الله عليه وسلم) يدرك ما لهذه الإشارات في نفوس أصحابه. لذلك كانت سنته (صلي الله عليه وسلم) زاخرة بهذه الإشارات والحركات التي كانت لها الأثر الواضح في التربية والتعليم. وعليه كان اختيارنا لهذا الموضوع (الإشارة الجسدية في الحديث النبوي الشريف-دراسة أساليب التوظيف-(سنن الترمذي إنموذجا))، دراسة لما لها من أثر واضح في الدراسات الحديثة والتي تخص النهج التربوي الذي سار عليه النبي (صلي الله عليه وسلم)، وقد اقتضت طبيعة الموضوع تقسيمه على مقدمة ومحاور عدة: - المقدمة: أهمية الموضوع ومحاوره. - المحور الأول: ماهية الإشارة. - المحور الثاني: أهمية الإشارة في السنة النبوية. - المحور الثالث: الإشارة الجسدية في سنن الترمذي، وفيه: - أولا: استخدام تعابير الوجه للدلالة على الحب والغضب. ثانيا: استخدام أصابع اليد ووظائفها. ثالثا: التبسم والضحك. رابعا: حركات الجسم الدالة على الحب.
