المستخلص: In developing countries, the social demand for the studies is ceaselessly increasing. Algeria following the example of many more nations knows deep transformations demographic transition, economic opening and reforms of education system. The education is considered as one of the engines of the growth and the development because of its numerous on the economic and social development .This study aims at analysing the relation between education expenses and the economic growth in Algeria with the causality via an model the VAR during 1986-2016.

Dans les pays en développement, la demande sociale pour les études est sans cesse en augmentation. L’Algérie à l’instar de nombreuses autres nations connait des mutations profondes: transition démographique, ouverture économique et réformes du système éducatif. L’éducation est considérée comme l’un des moteurs de la croissance et du développement en raison de ses nombreuses vertus sur le développement économique et social. Cette étude vise à analyser la relation entre les dépenses d’éducation et la croissance économique en Algérie en termes de causalité à l'aide des modèles VAR sur la période 1986 - 2016.
