|b The study aimed to detect the existence of a correlation between the motivation of cognitive curiosity and attitude towards science at the students of first grade preparatory. The researcher used the descriptive approach to the study. The study sample consisted of ninety male and female students of first grade preparatory, In order to detect a correlation between the motivation of cognitive curiosity and attitude towards science , the tools of the study which are the measure of the motivation of cognitive curiosity and attitude towards science to the study sample , And the results of the study revealed a positive correlation between the motivation of cognitive curiosity and attitude towards science , and the study recommended using the methods and strategies that increase of the motivation of cognitive curiosity for the development of scientific attitudes towards science.

|a هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن وجود علاقة ارتباطية بين الدافعية لحب الاستطلاع المعرفي والاتجاه نحو مادة العلوم لدى تلاميذ الصف الأول الإعدادي، واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي للدراسة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من 90 تلميذا وتلميذة من تلاميذ الصف الأول الإعدادي، وللكشف عن وجود علاقة ارتباطية بين الدافعية لحب الاستطلاع المعرفي والاتجاه نحو مادة العلوم تم تطبيق أدوات الدراسة المتمثلة في مقياس الاتجاه نحو مادة العلوم، ومقياس دافع حب الاستطلاع المعرفي على عينة الدراسة، وأسفرت نتائج الدراسة عن وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة بين الدافعية لحب الاستطلاع المعرفي والاتجاه نحو مادة العلوم، وأوصت الدراسة بالاهتمام بتنمية الدافعية لحب الاستطلاع المعرفي الاتجاهات العلمية نحو مادة العلوم، والأساليب التي تزيد من الاتجاهات العلمية نحو مادة العلوم.
