|b This study aims to shed light on the successful Malaysian experience in the transformation to the knowledge economy through transforming it to a digital society then a knowledge society till reaching a society which adds to the knowledge that led it to achieve a massive economic renaissance over the past two decades despite being considered a developing country. The study focuses on how Malaysia has achieved all that success and how it transferred technology from its neighboring countries, especially Japan, in addition to its unprecedented interest in human resource development, especially ethically and scientifically. The study also traces Malaysia’s plans and steps towards this transformation that allowed it to reach a development breakthrough and compete with the great powers. The developing countries can apply the successful Malaysian experience with the help of the Malaysian scientists and experts to put strategic plans, set implementation mechanisms, and follow up on the implementation.
