المستخلص: Egypt has been able to take important steps towards the knowledge economy and go a long way in this area, as it has established specialized official bodies to collect and disseminate various information and sites for these official bodies through the Internet, to be available to allin an era where the Internet has become a vast window from which everyone looks at the entire world. However, the results indicate that Egypt's performance is low compared to other countries and its ranking has declined. This highlights the challenges facing Egypt in order to overcome them and catch up with developed countries.
