|a يتيح إحصاء الأسماء المائية، لمنطقة معينة، تحديد خصائص متنوعة على المستويات الأنتروبولوجية والاجتماعية والثقافية، وكذا على مستوى تاريخ احتلال الأرض. إنها، باعتبارها أسماء أماكن، تمتلك القدرة على التدلال وتتبع الملامح الثقافية والتاريخية، بعد أن يتم إخضاعها إلى نظرية الدلالة التأويلية لفرنسوا راستييه (François Rastier). نسعى، من خلال هذا المقال، لاستخلاص مختلف الوظائف والدوافع الكبرى المترتبة عن تسمية نقاط المياه، التابعة لمنطقة معينة ومركزة.

|b The identification of the hydronyms of a specific region makes it possible to determine various characteristics from the anthropological, social and cultural points of view as well as the history of the occupation of the territory. Indeed, toponyms have the power to signify and trace the cultural and historical contours once submitted to François Rastier’s theory of interpretative semantics. In this paper, we will attempt to identify the different functions and major motivations for the naming of water points of a specific and circumscribed region.

|d Le recensement des hydronymes d'une région spécifique permet de déterminer des caractéristiques diverses tant sur les plans anthropologique, social, culturel que sur le plan de l'histoire de l’occupation du territoire. En effet, toponymes, ils ont le pouvoir de signifier et de retracer les contours culturels et historiques une fois soumis à la théorie de la sémantique interprétative de François Rastier. A travers cet article, nous tenterons de dégager les différentes fonctions et les motivations majeures de la dénomination des points d’eau, d’une région spécifique et circonscrite.
