المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى تقديرات المعلمين لدرجة ممارسة مديري المدارس الثانوية بمحافظات غزة للذكاء العاطفي، وقد استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، وكانت عينة الدراسة (478) معلماً ومعلمة. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن مستوى الذكاء العاطفي لدى مديري المدارس الثانوية بمحافظات غزة بلغ (79.80%) بدرجة مرتفعة، كما أظهرت الدراسة عدم فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات تقديرات أفراد العينة لمستوى (الوعي بالذات، إدارة الانفعالات والتنظيم الذاتي، المهارات الاجتماعية) لدى مديري المدارس الثانوية تعزى لمتغير الجنس، فيما وجدت فروق بين متوسطات تقديراتهم لمستوى التعاطف مع الآخرين لصالح الذكور، كما تبين أنه لا توجد فروق في جميع مجالات استبانة الذكاء العاطفي ودرجته الكلية تعزى لمتغير المؤهل العلمي، فيما وجدت فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير المنطقة التعليمية، حيث تبين أن مديري المدارس الثانوية في منطقة شرق خانيونس لديهم مستوى الذكاء العاطفي أقل من مديري المدارس الثانوية من المناطق التعليمية الأخرى، كما تبين أن مديري المدارس الثانوية في منطقة شمال غزة لديهم مستوى الذكاء العاطفي أقل من مديري المدارس الثانوية من منطقتي رفح وشرق غزة. وقد أوصت الدراسة الأخذ بعين الاعتبار مستوى الذكاء العاطفي عند اختيار القيادات التربوية، وعقد ورش عمل بغرض رفع مستوى الذكاء العاطفي لدى مديري المدارس.

The study aimed to identify the teachers ’estimates of the degree of emotional intelligence administrators in secondary schools in Gaza governorates. The study used the descriptive approach, and the study sample was (478) male and female teachers. The study found that the level of emotional intelligence among high school principals in Gaza governorates reached (79.80%) with a high degree, and the study also showed no statistically significant differences between the averages of the sample individuals ’estimates of the level of (self-awareness, emotion management and self-organization, social skills) for principals Secondary schools are attributable to sex variable, while differences were found between their averages of the level of "sympathy with others" in favor of males, as it was found that there were no differences in all areas of the resolution of emotional intelligence and its overall score is attributable to the variable of the educational qualification, while there were statistically significant differences attributable to the logic variable The educational level, where it was found that the principals of secondary schools in the east of Khan Yunis have a level of emotional intelligence lower than the principals of secondary schools from other educational areas, as it was found that the principals of secondary schools in the northern Gaza region have a level of emotional intelligence lower than the principals of secondary schools from the areas of Rafah and East Gaza. The study recommended taking into consideration the level of emotional intelligence when selecting educational leaders, and holding workshops to raise the level of emotional intelligence among school principals.
