المستخلص: This research seeks to approach the poem "The Journey in Death" by the poet Muhammad Al-Saleh Baouia. He is one of the poets who renewed the modern Algerian poem. Especially that this poem was written by him while observing the scale of the flood disaster that swept his hometown - the city of al-Mughayyir - in the October of 1969. Therefore, we chose the semiotic approach as a procedure to decipher the codes of this text depending on everything that is indicative, beginning with the title and ending with the textual conclusion, all this in order to show the poeticalness of the poem and the extent of the poet's interaction with the place and the event in an infinite tragic sense. Cette étude a pour objet la lecture du poème (voyage au cœur de la mort) du poète (Mohamed Salah Baouia) .qui est considéré comme l’un des plus grand innovateur de la poésie algérienne moderne. On a préféré travailler sur ce poème parce que il commémore le dramatique déluge qui a dévasté la région - d El Meghier - la ville natale du poète que c’était produit en octobre 1967. De ce fait on a opte pour l’approche sémiotique qui nous a permet de cerner les différents codes du texte. Ainsi que les multiples parties signifiantes. Afin de pouvoir attester la haute poétique du poème.

يسعى هذا البحث إلى محاولة مقاربة قصيدة "الرحلة في الموت" للشاعر محمد الصالح باوية. وهو من الشعراء الذين جددوا في القصيدة الجزائرية الحديثة. لاسيما أن هذه القصيدة كتبها في رصد حجم الكارثة الطوفانية التي اجتاحت مسقط رأسه - مدينة المغير - في شهر أكتوبر من عام 1969. ولذا اخترنا المنهج السيميائي إجراء، من أجل تفكيك شفرات هذا النص، اعتمادا على كل ما هو دال، بداية بالعنوان وانتهاء بالخاتمة النصية، كل هذا من أجل تبيان شعرية القصيدة، ومدى تفاعل الشاعر مع المكان والحدث في حس مأساوي لامتناهي.
