المستخلص: This article proposes to check if the vulnerability of the Algerian tourism is related mainly to a high economic vulnerability, For this, we rely on the Economic Vulnerability Index (EVI) developed by the United Nations Committee for Development Policies, in making two important changes. On the one hand, the vulnerability related to hydrocarbon dependency. On the other hand, we are looking for other factors that have led to this vulnerability. For this, we apply the SWOT analysis tool that allows comparing the external environmental analysis and the internal analysis of resources of Algeria. The method consists in synthesizing in a matrix the strengths and weaknesses related to the Algerian Territory threats and opportunities related to other external factors.

Cet article propose de vérifier si la vulnérabilité du tourisme Algérien est principalement liée à une forte vulnérabilité économique. Pour cela, nous nous appuyons sur l'indice de vulnérabilité économique (EVI) développé par le Comité des politiques de développement des Nations Unies, en apportant deux changements importants. D'une part, la vulnérabilité liée à la dépendance aux hydrocarbures. D'autre part, nous recherchons d'autres facteurs qui ont conduit à cette vulnérabilité. Pour cela, nous appliquons l'outil d'analyse SWOT qui permet de comparer l'analyse environnementale externe et l'analyse interne des ressources de l'Algérie. La méthode consiste à synthétiser dans une matrice les forces et faiblesses liées aux menaces et opportunités du territoire Algérien liées à d'autres facteurs externes.
