المستخلص: The author of Le Gone du chaâba (1986) is known for his speech resistant to marginality. His writing is the expression of a desire for otherness. In this novel, Azouz Begag retraces the social and identity journey of an immigrant child. The story of the protagonist narrator is situated between two spaces, the home that resembles the country of origins and the school where Azouz becomes most aware of his difference. This difference is very similar to the marginalization of the characters. Our analysis attempts to detect the scriptural strategies expressing this desire for reconciliation. This dissension finds its catharsis in a frantic quest for otherness

L’auteur du Gone du Chaâba est connu pour son discours réfractaire à la marginalité. Son écriture est l’expression d’un désir d’altérité. Dans ce roman, Azouz Begag retrace l’itinéraire social et identitaire d’un enfant d’immigré. L’histoire du narrateur protagoniste se situe entre deux espaces: le foyer qui ressemble au pays d’origine et l’école, lieu où Azouz prend le plus fortement conscience de sa différence. C’est précisément à cette différence que s’apparente la marginalisation des personnages. Notre analyse tente de déceler les stratégies scripturales exprimant ce désir de réconciliation d’un personnage excentré avec le centre. Cette dissension trouve sa catharsis dans une quête effrénée d’altérité.
