المستخلص: وهدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور المعلم في نشر ثقافة السلام لدى طلاب المدارس الثانوية في مدينة الرياض، وتوضيح الفروق ذات الدلالة الإحصائية بين أفراد العينة بالنسبة لدور المعلم في نشر ثقافة السلام لدى طلاب المدارس الثانوية بالرياض من وجهة نظر الطلاب والمعلمين. وشمل مجتمع الدراسة جميع طلاب ومعلمي المرحلة الثانوية العامة الحكومية النهارية بمدينة الرياض، والبالغ عددهم (51044) طالبا. و(3564) معلما، وطبقت الدراسة على عينة عشوائية عنقودية، تكونت من (600) طالبا، و(360) معلما. واستخدم الباحث الاستبانة كأداة للحصول على البيانات اللازمة للدراسة، وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عددا من النتائج من أهمها:
أن المعلم يقوم بدوره بدرجة متوسطة نحو نشر ثقافة التسامح بين الطلاب من وجهة نظر الطلاب بشكل عام، وبدرجة كبيرة من وجهة نظر المعلمين أنفسهم، ومن أهم هذه الأدوار هو (تشجيع الطلاب على تقبل نصائح أهل الخبرة والصلاح، وحثهم على احترام كبار السن وتوقيرهم).
أن المعلم يقوم بدوره بدرجة متوسطة نحو نشر ثقافة الحوار بين الطلاب من وجهة نظر الطلاب بشكل عام، وبدرجة كبيرة من وجهة نظر المعلمين أنفسهم ومن أهم هذه الأدوار هو (حث الطلاب على عدم مقاطعة الطرف الآخر أثناء الحوار، والتأكيد على احترامهم وتقديرهم للطرف الأخر أثناء الحوار).
أن المعلم يقوم بدوره بدرجة متوسطة نحو نشر ثقافة التعاون بين الطلاب من وجهة نظر الطلاب بشكل عام، وبدرجة كبيرة من وجهة نظر المعلمين أنفسهم ومن أهم هذه الأدوار هو (حث الطلاب على مساعدة زملائهم، وتنمية حب العمل الجماعي لديهم)
وأوصت الدراسة بعددا من التوصيات والمقترحات من أهمها:
1- تقديم دورات تدريبية للمعلمين في كيفية إدارة وتكوين حلقات النقاش داخل غرفة الصف.
2- إشراك الطلاب مع المعلمين وإدارة المدرسة في حل بعض المشكلات المدرسية التي تخصهم.
3- تكريم الطلاب الذين يقومون بأدوار واضحة وملموسة في تقديم خدمات اجتماعية داخل مجتمع المدرسة.
4- تفعيل طريقة تعلم الأقران داخل غرفة الصف.
5- إجراء المزيد من الدراسات حول دور المعلم في نشر ثقافة السلام بين الطلاب في مراحل دراسية أخرى.


The study aimed to identify the role of the teacher in spreading the culture of peace among secondary school students in Riyadh. It also sought to explain the statistically significant differences between the sample members in relation to the role of the teacher in spreading the culture of peace among high school students in Riyadh from the point of view of students and teachers. The study community included all students and teachers of the government general secondary school in Riyadh, who numbered 51044 students and 3564 teachers. The study was applied to a random cluster sample consisting of (600) students and (360) teachers. The researcher used the questionnaire as a tool to obtain the necessary data for the study and employed the descriptive survey method. The study reached a number of findings, most notably:
The teacher plays his role towards spreading a culture of tolerance among students towards a moderate extent, from the point of view of students in general, and to a large extent, from the point of view of the teachers themselves. One of their most important roles includes encouraging students to accept the advice of experienced people and righteousness and urging them to respect and honor older people.
The teacher plays a moderate role in spreading the culture of dialogue among students from the point of view of students in general and to a large extent from the point of view of the teachers themselves. The most important role is (urging students not to interrupt the other party during the conversation and putting emphasis on respecting and appreciating the other party during the dialogue/conversation).
The teacher plays a moderate role in spreading the culture of cooperation among students from the point of view of students in general and to a large extent from the point of view of the teachers themselves. One of the most important of these roles is (urging students to help their colleagues and develop the love for teamwork among them)
The study made a number of recommendations and proposals, most notably:
1- Provide training courses for teachers on how to manage and configure panel discussions within the classroom.
2- Engage students with teachers and school management in solving some of the school problems that concern them.
3. Honoring students who play clear and significant roles in providing social services within the school community.
4. Activating peer learning method within the classroom.
5. Conducting further studies on the role of the teacher in spreading the culture of peace among students at other study stages.
