المستخلص: التطرف هو أحد إفرازات انعدام الأمن الاجتماعي عموما، والأمن الفكري بوجه خاص. وقد حدثت ظاهرة التطرف في العديد من الأعمال النفسية والاجتماعية التي سعت إلى وصف ودراسة الاضطرابات البشرية المعاصرة. ويؤكد الباحثون على أن ظاهرة التطرف ليست نتيجة عصر التكنولوجيا، لأنها تجاوزت نطاق الحالات الفردية لتصبح واحدة من الظواهر الاجتماعية المميزة من العصر الحالي مع الثقافات والمجتمعات المختلفة. إن انعدام الأمن بشكل عام، والأمن الفكري بشكل خاص، أدى إلى تفاقم بعض الظواهر الاجتماعية السلبية في المجتمعات الإسلامية خصوصا، وخاصة ظاهر التطرف التي يراد لها أن تصبح سمة رئيسة من سمات الشعب الإسلامي. ويمكن تحديد أهداف الدراسة في النقاط التالية: 1- فهم مفهوم الأمن بشكل عام، والأمن الفكري بشكل خاص. 2- فهم مفهوم التطرف وأشكاله ونظرياته وأسبابه. 3- التعرف على العلاقة بين الأمن الفكري وظاهرة التطرف. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي للتكامل في منهجية البحث بين الوصف الوصفي والتحليل والاستنباط لغرض الإجابة عن أسئلة الدراسة وإثبات مفهوم الأمن الفكري والتطرف وكشف العلاقة بينهما.

Extremism is one of the secretions of social insecurity in general, and intellectual security in particular. The phenomenon of extremism has taken place in many psychological and social works that have sought to describe and study contemporary human disorders. The researchers emphasize that extremism is not the result of the age of technology, The scope of individual cases to become one of the social phenomena characteristic of the present age with different cultures and societies. The lack of security in general, and intellectual security in particular, have exacerbated some of the negative social phenomena in Islamic societies in particular, particularly the phenomenon of extremism, which has become a major feature of Islamic peoples. The objectives of the study can be defined in the following points: 1-Understanding the concept of security in general, and intellectual security in particular? 2-To understand the concept of extremism, its forms, theories and reasons? 3-Identify the relationship between intellectual security and the phenomenon of extremism? The researcher used the analytical descriptive method of integration in the methodology of research between descriptive, analysis and devising for the purpose of answering the study questions, and to demonstrate the concept of intellectual security and extremism and to reveal the relationship between them.
