المستخلص: يبين البحث ماهية المعرفة واقتصاد المعرفة وأهميته وأهدافه وخصائصه ومؤشراته. وبيان بعض التجارب الدولية التي توجهت نحو اقتصاد المعرفة كدولتي ماليزيا، وفنلندا، وتقييم دور الدولة المصرية في التوجه نحو تعزيز اقتصاد المعرفة. ثم القيام بتوضيح مدي انطباق المؤشرات المقترحة على الدولة المصرية للوقوف على المؤشرات القوية لتنميتها، والضعيفة للعمل على دعمها وتطويرها، وأثر هذا في عمل تنمية اقتصادية مستدامة. واتبع البحث الأسلوب الوصفي التحليلي لبيان هذه العلاقة من خلال بيان مدي انطباق مؤشرات اقتصاد المعرفة المقترحة في الدولة المصرية. وخلص البحث إلى أن الدولة المصرية تبذل جهود لتعزيز اقتصاد المعرفة ولكنها تحتاج إلى المزيد، مع الاعتماد على التنمية البشرية والتطوير والبحث العلمي والابتكار والتكنولوجيا والإنترنت. وأوصى البحث بعدد من التوصيات منها زيادة الإنفاق على البحث العلمي والتطوير والابتكار وخفض تكاليف استخدام الإنترنت وبناء بنية تحتية تكنولوجية وتوفير الإنترنت لكافة أفراد الدولة والاعتماد على أدوات التكنولوجيا الحديثة، الأمر الذي يعمل على زيادة صادرات مصر من التكنولوجيا في كافة المجالات.

The research shows what knowledge and knowledge economy is, its importance, goals, characteristics and indicators. And a description of some international experiences that have been directed towards the knowledge economy, such as Malaysia and Finland, and an evaluation of the role of the Egyptian state in moving towards the promotion of the knowledge economy. Then clarify the extent of the proposed indicators applying to the Egyptian state to find strong indicators for their development, and weak to work to support and develop them, and the impact of this on the work of sustainable economic development. The research followed the descriptive and analytical method to indicate this relationship by showing the applicability of the proposed knowledge economy indicators in the Egyptian state. The research concluded that the Egyptian state is making efforts to boost the knowledge economy, but it needs more, while relying on human development and development, scientific research, innovation, technology and the Internet. The research recommended a number of recommendations, including increasing spending on scientific research, development and innovation, reducing the costs of using the Internet, building technological infrastructure, providing the Internet to all members of the state and relying on modern technology tools, which works to increase Egypt's exports of technology in all fields.
