The study aims to identify the administrative and educational problems faced by female teachers in day-care centers in Riyadh and ways to address them while making proposals that contribute to reducing these problems from the female teachers' point of view. The researcher used the descriptive survey approach and the questionnaire as a study tool. The study community consisted of all 842 special education teachers (female) in day-care centers in Riyadh. The study sample consisted of 270 female teachers.
The study produced a number of findings, most notably:
First: The sample study is highly approving of the administrative problems which they face in day-care centers, with an arithmetic average of (3.81) and a standard deviation of (0.970). The most prominent of these problems are the following:
1- The salary is not commensurate with the efforts made by the teachers.
2. The low material and moral incentives provided to female teachers by the center's management.
3. The absence of a clear mechanism for receiving complaints and proposals of teachers.
Second: The study sample is highly in agreement with the educational problems facing them in day-care centers, with an arithmetic average of (3.79) and a standard deviation of (0.876), the most prominent of which are:
1. The existence of behavioral problems associated with disability among students.
2. Inaccurate diagnosis of students.
3. Poor language skills of students.
Third: The study sample is highly in agreement with the proposals that contribute to reducing the administrative and educational problems faced by them in day-care centers, with an arithmetic average of (4.23) and a standard deviation of (1.08). The most notable of these include:
1. Providing the necessary support services to students.
2. Increasing the salaries of teachers in proportion to the effort exerted.
3. Relying on accurate and objective measurement and evaluation methods in the diagnosis of students.
In light of the study results, the researcher made the following recommendations:
1. Directing the administrations of centers to ensure the provision of various support services necessary for persons with disabilities.
2. Relying on accurate and objective measurement and evaluation methods in the diagnosis of students.
3. Sensitizing the centers 'administrations to the need to increase the financial allocations necessary to provide material resources.
