المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى تقدير جهود فذ من الأفذاذ وتثمين ابتكار علم من أعلام القرن الثاني من الهجرة في النحو العربي هو الخليل بن أحمد الفراهيدي )ت 175ه(، كان ذلك بطرق باب من أبواب اجتهاده تمثل في التعليل، كون هذا الأخير فك طلاسم وفتح أبوابا كانت موصدة أشار إليها المتقدمون الذين سبقوه، ذلك أن التعليل كان أول أمره إشارات وإيماءات لظواهر الإعراب دون أن يشار إلى تعليل الأحكام ويفصل في القواعد، فجاء هذا الأخير ليبتكر ويعلل وجوه الإعراب تعليلا لا يخرج عن طبيعة اللغة العربية ليكون أول مؤسس لنظرية العامل التي خضع لها تفسير نظام العربية أضف إلى ذلك ظهور مصطلح التعليل كمصطلح نحوي وعلمي على يد هذا الفذ، فكان له منهج ووسائل تفرد بها وفسر به النظام النحوي للعربية سار على خطاه جل النحاة الذين جاؤوا بعده.

The purpose of this article is to Appreciate the efforts of one of the geniuses and to highlight the innovation of one of the eminent scholars of the second century of the Hegira in the field of Arabic grammar: Alkhalil Ben Ahmed Alfarahidi (175H). To do this, we touched on one of his innovative themes, namely Grammatical Explanation. Indeed, thanks to this linguist, many riddles have been clarified and so many doors have been opened. To these last, the predecessors of Alkhalil have been alluded to. For the grammatical analysis at its beginnings was only implications on grammatical phenomena without giving any precise explanation or an explanation of the rules. It is in these circumstances that this scientist intervenes to innovate by explaining any grammatical phenomenon, without leaving out the genius of the Arabic language. Hence, he is considered a pioneer and founder of the theory of Action, on which the interpretation of the linguistic system of the Arabic language rests. In addition, it is due to him that comes the appearance of the term "Explanation" as a grammatical and scientific term. Thus, he distinguished himself by a method and tools peculiar to him, by means of which he began to explain the Arabic language system, and which are then taken up by most of the grammarians who come after him.
