المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع استخدام أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة نجران لتطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي؛ التي يمكن توظيفها في العملية التعليمية، والتحديات التي تواجه استخدامها، وعلاقة بعض المتغيرات ك(الجنس، والدرجة العلمية بذلك)، ووظفت الدراسة لهذا الغرض المنهج الوصفي (التحليلي)، والمنهج الوصفي (المسحي) لمناسبتهما طبيعتها، وتحقيق أهدافها، وطبقت استبانة على عينة مكونة من (٣٠١) من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة نجران، للفصل الدراسي الأول من العام الجامعي ١٤٤٢ه، وتوصلت النتائج إلى أن: استخدام أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة نجران لتطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في التعليم جاءت بدرجة منخفضة جدا، وأن هناك اتفاقا ملحوظا على وجود العديد من التحديات التي تحول دون استخدام هذه التطبيقات، كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود أثر في واقع استخدام أعضاء هيئة التدريس لتطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي يعزى لمتغير الجنس، أو الدرجة العلمية، كذلك عدم وجود أثر في التحديات التي تواجه استخدامهم لتطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي يعزى للمتغيرين السالفين، وفي الختام قدمت مجموعة من التوصيات، كان من أبرزها: ضرورة عقد دورات تدريبية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس لاطلاعهم على الجديد في مجال تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي، وتحفيزهم على استخدام الوسائل التكنولوجية الحديثة، وتزويد البيئة التعليمية بالأجهزة اللازمة لتوظيف تلك التطبيقات في العملية التعليمية.

The present study aimed to identify the reality of use of faculty members at Najran University of the artificial intelligence applications that can be employed in the educational process. It also aimed to determine the challenges facing this use and its relationship to some variables like, gender, and scientific degree. The descriptive analytical approach and the descriptive survey approach were used because of their fitness to the nature and aims of the study. The questionnaire was the main study instrument for data collection and was applied to a sample of (301) faculty members at Najran University in the first semester of the academic year 2020. Findings revealed that the utilization degree of the artificial intelligence applications by faculty members was very low. Moreover, there was a noticeable agreement by participant members on the existence of many challenges that inhibit the use of these applications. Findings also revealed that there was no effect in the reality of faculty members' use of the artificial intelligence applications due to gender or scientific degree. Besides, there was no effect in the challenges facing their use of these artificial intelligence applications due to the previously mentioned variables. At the end, a set of recommendations were presented where the most prominent were the importance of holding training courses for faculty members to familiarize them with the latest in the field of artificial intelligence applications and to motivate them to use the means of modern technology and the importance of providing the educational environment with all devices essential for the utilization of such artificial intelligence applications in the educational process.
