المستخلص: تناول البحث دور إدارة المكتبات في زيادة كفاءة المعلوماتية للأستاذ الجامعـي. هدف البحث إلى التعرف على رسالة المكتبات الجامعية وأهدافها. وبيان دور الكوادر البشرية العاملة في مجال المكتبات. تكمن مشكلة البحث في الإجابة على التساؤلات التالية: هل هناك أهداف محددة سلفا تسعى المكتبة الجامعية إلى تحقيقها؟ وهل هناك كفاية في الأفـراد وكفاءة في الأعمال المنوطة بهم؟ وما هي أوجه القوة والضعف في ممارسة المكتبات لأسس الإدارة العلميـة؟ هل يسعى الأستاذ الجامعي للاستفادة من المكتبة الجامعية في زيادة كفاءته المعلوماتية؟ هل هنالك تعاون ما بين الجهتين في تحديد الاحتياجات المعرفية؟ ويفترض أن هنالـك علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين التقنية المستخدمة وزيادة الكفاءة المعلوماتية للأستاذ الجامعـي. وأن هنالـك علاقـة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين التأثـير المثالي لأداء المكتبات، وزيادة الكفاءة المعلوماتية للأستاذ الجامعـي. انتهج البحث المنهج الإحصافي التحليلي. وخرج البحث بعدة نتائج، من أهمها: تلتزم المكتبات بتوفير ما يلزم من تقنيات إلكترونية. وأن هنالك حاجة للتغير المستمر في إدارة المكتبـات لتوفـير ما يلزم. تستمر الإدارة الجامعية في زيادة وعي أعضاء هيئة التدريس. وأوصى البحث بعدد من التوصيات منها: ضرورة مواكبة المستجدات في مجال التقنية الحديثة. وضرورة التدريب المستمر للكوادر المساعدة في إدارة المكتبات. والنظر إلى المنافسة كعنصر للتحسين المستمر.

The research dealt with the role of library management in increasing the informatics efficiency of the university professor. The aim of the research is to identify the mission and objectives of university libraries. And the role of human cadres working in the field of libraries. The research problem lies in answering the following questions: Are there predetermined goals that the university library seeks to achieve? Is there sufficiency in individuals and efficiency in the work assigned to them? What are the strengths and weaknesses in the practice of libraries of the foundations of scientific management? Does the university professor seek to benefit from the university library to increase his information efficiency? Is there any cooperation between the two sides in identifying knowledge needs? It is assumed that there is a statistically significant relationship between the technology used and the increase in the information efficiency of the university professor. And that there is a statistically significant relationship between the ideal effect of the performance of libraries and increasing the informational efficiency of the university professor. The research followed the statistical and analytical method. The research yielded several results, the most important of which are: The libraries are committed to providing the necessary electronic technologies. And that there is a need for continuous change in the management of libraries to provide what is needed. University administration continues to increase the awareness of faculty members. The research recommended a number of recommendations, including: The need to keep abreast of developments in the field of modern technology. And the need for continuous training for assisting cadres in library management. And see competition as an element of continuous improvement.
