المستخلص: يهدف البحث الحالي إلى تقويم كتاب الاجتماعيات للصف الثاني المتوسط من وجهة نظر مدرسي المادة، واعتمد الباحث المنهج الوصفي منهجا لبحثه، وشمل البحث مدرسي مادة الاجتماعيات في المدارس المتوسطة والثانوية في محافظة بغداد، وتكونت عينة البحث من (187) مدرسا ومدرسة وبنسبة 20% من المجتمع الكلي، وتألفت الاستبانة من (79) فقرة موزعة على (7) مجالات هي (الأهداف، المحتوى، الأنشطة، التقويم لغة الكتاب، الإخراج الفني، الصور والرسومات) وتم عرضها على الخبراء والمختصين واستخرج الصدق الظاهري لها، وتم استعمال الوسائل الإحصائية المناسبة، وبعد تطبيق الأداة والحصول على النتائج توصل الباحث إلى الاتي: 1-ان كتاب الاجتماعيات للصف الثاني المتوسط حقق جميع مجالاته (بدرجة جيد) ألا أن هناك بعض المعايير لم تتحقق وتحتاج إلى مراجعة. 2-أن الكتاب بحاجة إلى مراجعة تكون على أساس میداني يلبي حاجات المجتمع والطلاب والهيئة التدريسية. وأوصى الباحث بتوصيات عدة منها: لابد من مساهمة المدرسين أصحاب الشأن في عملية الأعداد والتطوير لأنهم يمثلون الخط الأول في التنفيذ. واقترح مقترحات عدة منها: 1-اجراء دراسة تقويمية لكتاب الاجتماعيات للصف الثاني المتوسط في ضوء أبعاد التنمية المستدامة. 2-اجراء دراسة تقويمية لكتاب الاجتماعيات للصف الثاني المتوسط في ضوء معايير الجودة في التعليم.

The current research aims to evaluate the social book for the second intermediate grade from the viewpoint of the subject teachers. The researcher adopted the descriptive approach as a method for his research, and the research included teachers of social studies in middle and high schools in the governorate of Baghdad, and the research sample consisted of (187) teachers and schools, with a percentage of 20% of the total society, and the questionnaire consisted of (79) items distributed in (7) areas are (Objectives, content, Activities, calendar, book language, artistic direction, pictures and drawings) were presented to experts and specialists and extracted apparent honesty to them, and the appropriate statistical methods were used, and after applying the tool and obtaining the results, the researcher reached the following: 1- The intermediate second-grade social book has achieved all its fields (with a good degree), but there are some criteria that have not been met and need to be reviewed. 2- The book needs to be reviewed on a field basis that meets the needs of society, students and the teaching staff. The researcher recommended several recommendations, including: The concerned teachers should contribute to the preparation and development process because they represent the first line in implementation. He suggested several proposals, including: 1- Conduct an evaluation study of the social book for the second intermediate grade in the light of the dimensions of sustainable development. 2- Conducting an evaluation study for the social book for the second intermediate grade in light of the quality standards in education.
