المستخلص: تلعب الشبكات الاجتماعية دورا ثقافيا واجتماعيا من الدرجة الأولى في حياة الأفراد في مختلف ثقافتهم على المستوى المحلي والإقليمي والدولي، فقد أصبح بإمكان أي شخص الآن إنشاء صفحة وحساب خاص به على مواقع الشبكات الاجتماعية، ويأتي ذلك من إدراك المجتمع بصفة عامة والباحثين بصفة خاصـة بأهمية هذه الشبكات في نقل المعلومات وتداول المعرفة وإبداء الآراء.
ومن هذا المنطلق فأن هذه الدراسـة هدفت إلى تناول دور شـبكات التواصـل الاجتماعي في نشـر المعرفة بين أوسـاط الباحثين اليمنيين والمصريين ومجالات اسـتـخـدامهم لهذه الشبكات، بالإضافة إلى معرفة مدى مساهمة هذه الشبكات في البحث العلمي وحصـول الباحثين اليمنيين والمصريين على المعلومات التي يحتاجونها، وقد اعتمد الباحثان على المنهج المسحي وكذلك المنهج المقارن في دراستهما واستخدما الاستبيان الإلكتروني بصـفة أسـاسـيـة إضـافة إلى أدبيات الموضـوع كأدوات لجمع البيانات والمعلومات، وتم تحليل الاستبيان باستخدام حزمة برمجياتSPSS .
وقد خرجت الدراسة بالعديد من النتائج من أهمها:
أن أكثر شبكات التواصـل الاجتماعي المستخدمة من قبل الباحثين بشكل عام هي: Facebook . يليهـا + Google . ، ومن ثم YouTube وجاء في المرتبة الأخيرة Slide Share . في حين أن أكثر شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي المستخدمة من قبل الباحثين في مجال تخصصهم العلمي هي: Google+ ، ومن ثم Facebook ، وحل في المرتبة الأخيرة Twitter.
يوجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى أقل من (0.05) في شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي الأكثر استخداما من قبل الباحثين بشكل عام وأيضا الأكثر استخداما في مجال التخصص حسب متغير الجنسية.
ومن أهم ما أوصت به الدراسة ضرورة تفعيل دور شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي والاستفادة منها من قبل الأقسام العلمية في الجامعات المصرية واليمنية في نشر أخر التطورات كلا في مجال تخصصه وتقديم خدمات تعليمية وإرشادية للباحثين عن طريق تلك الشبكات، والاستفادة منها أيضا في مجال التسويق والإعلام للأنشطة والفعاليات التي تقوم بها تلك الأقسام.


Social media plays a first-class cultural and social role in the lives of individuals in their different cultures at the local, regional and international levels. Anyone can now create their own page and account on social networking sites. This comes from the recognition by society in general and researchers in particular of the importance of these networks in the transfer of information, the circulation of knowledge, and the expression of opinions.
From this point of view, this study aimed to address the role of social media in spreading knowledge among Yemeni and Egyptian researchers and the areas of their use of these networks, in addition, to learn about the extent to which these networks contribute to scientific research and the access of Yemeni and Egyptian researchers to the information they need. The researchers relied on the survey and comparative method in their study and used the electronic questionnaire mainly in addition to the subject literature as tools for data and information collection, and the questionnaire was analyzed using the SPSS software package.
The study came out with many results, the most important of which are:
The most used social networking sites by researchers in general are: Facebook, followed by Google +, then YouTube, and in the last place came Slide Share. While the most used social networks by researchers in their scientific field are: Google+, then Facebook, and at the end, Twitter.
According to the nationality variable, there are statistically significant differences at a level less than (0.05) in the social networking sites most used by researchers in general and the most used in the field of specialization.
One of the most important recommendations of the study is the necessity of promoting the role of social networks and benefiting from them by the science departments in Egyptian and Yemeni universities in disseminating the latest developments, in their fields of specialization and providing educational and guidance services to researchers through these networks, and also benefiting from them in the field of marketing and media for the activities and events that these departments do.
