|b This study aimed to reveal the degree to which Jeddah University has some competitive capabilities in the fields of infrastructure, human resources, education, learning and scientific reputation., and to monitor the factors affecting (internal and external) in attracting students to join the university, and then studying the relationship between them and the extent of the possibility of predicting the factors of attracting students through owning Those competitive capabilities, and the researcher used the correlation descriptive approach through the distribution of the study tool, which is the questionnaire on the study sample of (750) male and female students, and the study came out with a number of results, including the availability of some competitive capabilities in a medium degree, and the most important internal factors The influencing of university enrollment is the availability of specializations required by the labor market. The study also revealed a positive correlation between owning competitive capabilities and factors affecting attracting students in favor of competitive capabilities., and the study came out with the possibility of predicting the influencing factors to attract students through the University of Jeddah having some competitive capabilities, and the study came out with a number of recommendations, including The necessity of focusing on a number of competitive capabilities that could affect attracting students appropriate to the identity of the university, and the need to push towards reducing similarities between public universities.

|a هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن درجة امتلاك جامعة جدة لبعض القدرات التنافسية في مجالات البنية التحتية والموارد البشرية والتعليم والتعلم والسمعة العلمية، بالإضافة إلى رصد العوامل المؤثرة (الداخلية والخارجية) في جذب الطلبة للالتحاق بالجامعة، ومن ثم دراسة العلاقة بينهما ومدى إمكانية التنبؤ بعوامل جذب الطلبة عبر امتلاك تلك القدرات التنافسية، واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، وجمع البيانات عبر الاستبانة من عينة الدراسة البالغة (750) طالبا وطالبة، وخرجت الدراسة بعدد من النتائج منها توفر بعض القدرات التنافسية بدرجة متوسطة، وتحديد أبرز العوامل الداخلية المؤثرة للالتحاق بالجامعة، منها توفر تخصصات يطلبها سوق العمل، كما كشفت الدراسة عن وجود علاقة طردية موجبة بين امتلاك القدرات التنافسية والعوامل المؤثرة في جذب الطلبة لصالح القدرات التنافسية، وخرجت الدراسة بإمكانية التنبؤ بالعوامل المؤثرة لجذب الطلبة عبر امتلاك جامعة جدة لبعض القدرات التنافسية، وخرجت الدراسة بعدد من التوصيات منها ضرورة التركيز على عدد من القدرات التنافسية التي يمكن أن تؤثر في جذب الطلبة المناسبين لهوية الجامعة، وضرورة الدفع نحو تقليل التشابه بين الجامعات الحكومية.
