المستخلص: Abu Hayyan al-Tawhidi presented in his writings a dialogue text based on questions and answers, and these two parties represent the duality of composition / narration, which is the center of gravity in the theory of deliberative verbal actions, which is concerned with the dichotomy of intent and achievement that is known in our Arab critical heritage of composition / narration. We proceed in this research from the hypothesis that the dialogues presented by Al-Tawhidi with his professors Ibn Miskawayh, Abu Suleiman Al-Sijistani, and Minister Ibn Sa`adan are hypothetical dialogues for goals that we will seek to clarify. This is because we see that the literary text does not present a literal picture of reality, but rather seeks to reconfigure it according to the duality of vision and the vision.
