|a الهدف من كتابة هذا المقال هو التعريف بمرحلة ما قبل المدرسة، خصوصياتها وأهميتها في حياة الطفل الدراسية والاجتماعية، يحددها العلماء من نهاية العام الثاني إلى نهاية العام الخامس، وهي المرحلة التي تسبق دخول الطفل إلى المدرسة النظامية. إنها المرحلة التي يجب أن تلبى فيها حاجات الطفل الفيزيولوجية العضوية وأيضا النفسية من معرفية، انفعالية، اجتماعية وجسمية. إنها المرحلة التي يكون فيها الطفل ميالا للتجريب واللعب بحثا عن اكتساب الخبرة وتحقيق التكيف الاجتماعي، ولا يمكنه ذلك إلا بمساعدة الكبار عن طريق التربية والرعاية.

|b The purpose of this article is to describe the preschool phase, its importance in the school and social life of the child. Psychologists have limited it to 2 and 5 years. This is the period before entry to compulsory school.
