المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى قياس فاعلية برنامج مقترح في الدراسات الاجتماعية قائم علي أبعاد ومخاطر حروب الجيل الرابع لتنمية قيم الهوية الوطنية، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف تم بناء قائمة بأبعاد ومخاطر حروب الجيل الرابع، وكذلك إعداد إطار عام لبرنامج قائم علي أبعاد ومخاطر حروب الجيل الرابع في الدراسات الاجتماعية، واختيار موضوعات البرنامج، وإعداد إحدى وحداته تفصليا، وتم إعداد مقياس قيم الهوية الوطنية وتطبيقه علي مجموعة البحث قبل وبعد تدريس موضوعات البرنامج، وهم مجموعة من طلاب الفرقة الرابعة تخصص الدراسات الاجتماعية بكلية التربية جامعة عين شمس والذي بلغ عددهم (40) طالبا وطالبة. وقد توصلت نتائج البحث إلى وجود فرق دال إحصائي عند مستوي (0.01) بين متوسطي درجات الطلاب مجموعة البحث في التطبيق القبلي والبعدي لمقياس قيم الهوية الوطنية لصالح التطبيق البعدي ولصالح كل بعد من أبعاد المقياس، لذا أوصي البحث بضرورة إعادة النظر في فلسفة ومبادئ إعداد برامج إعداد الطالب المعلم شعبة الدراسات الاجتماعية في المراحل المختلفة، بما يعمل على زيادة معارف الطلاب المعلمين عن أبعاد ومخاطر حروب الجيل الرابع وتنمية جوانب التفكير المختلفة لديهم، وبما يدعم تنمية قيم الهوية الوطنية لديهم.

This research aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of a proposed program in social studies based on the dimensions and dangers of the fourth generation wars for developing the national identity values. To achieve this aim, a list of the dimensions and dangers of the fourth generation wars was designed. In addition, a general framework for a program based on the dimensions and dangers of the fourth generation wars in social studies was created, the topics of the program were selected, and one of the program's units was prepared in detail. A group of male and female students at the 4th year, Department of Social Studies, Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University participated in the study. A scale of the national identity values was designed and administered to the research group before and after administration of the program's topics. The results of the research indicated that there is a statistically significant difference at the 0.01 level between the mean scores of the research group on the pre and post application of the national identity values scale in favor of the post application and in favor of each of the scale's dimensions. Hence, the research recommends the necessity to review the philosophy and principles of designing preparation programs of social studies student-teachers at the different stages. This would increase the knowledge of student-teachers about the dimensions and dangers of the fourth generation wars, develop the different aspects of thinking for them, and support the development of their national identity values.
