المستخلص: This study investigated the effect of an Interactive whiteboard on developing fourth year Al Azhar university students' reading comprehension in English as a foreign language (EFL). To achieve this purpose, the researchers chose 56 students assigned to an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group were (28) students. Electronic lectures were introduced to them through an electronic whiteboard, which was related to a site (Scribblar.com) that students could navigate, while the control group were also (28) students who used the regular instruction. Interaction was provided through reading comprehension to the instructor in the part of chatting. The researchers used the quasi-experimental design. Students were admitted technological catalysts. The researchers used the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) in order to analyze data and get results. The study revealed the following important results: There is a significant statistical difference at the level of 0.01 between the main scores of the experimental group and the control group on the post administration of the test, in favor of the experimental group due to the use of the proposed whiteboard on developing the students' reading comprehension in English as a foreign language.
