520 |b The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of using a flipped classroom instructional model on developing writing skills. The researchers used one group that learnt writing skills through a flipped classroom instructional model. The researchers chose the Participants by randomly. They were (60) pupil .The researchers selected them at Muhammad Fared governmental primary School, Cairo governorate. They were the at same sex (male), and their age ranged from 11 to 13 years .Most of the pupils belonged to the middle class and their socio-economic level was nearly the same. This study used a pre- post writing test. Additionally, a flipped classroom instructional model was used to develop EFL writing skills. This study concluded that: the effect size of the flipped classroom instructional model on developing the required EFL writing skills was (0.83) which higher than the value of the large effect size (0.8). There is there is a statistically significant difference in degree (0.05) between means of scores of administration of the pre and post writing test in favor of the administration post. Additionally the flipped classroom model boosted pupils’ motivation and class engagement. They demonstrated a better writing attainment through the flipped classroom model; they became more engaged and responsible of their learning.
