المستخلص: This study is a pragmatic one, it investigates the most important pragmatic elements that established in the sport instructions especially those appeared on Facebook. The study deals with the types of speech acts used in these instructions along with Cooperative principle showing the maxims that are flouted in the study as well as the conversational implicature of this flouting. The study has hypothesized that directives is the most dominant speech acts in sport instructions, quantity and manner are flouted more than other maxims in sport instructions. To validate these hypotheses, the study aims at showing the most dominant speech act in the sport instructions, showing the maxims that are flouted mostly in sport instructions and showing the conversational implicature of the flouting. And the study has concluded that there is a heavy use of speech acts in sport instructions and directives is the most dominant category in sport instructions as it is used (60%) in the selected data then representatives used (30%) then declaratives are used (10%). Commissives and expressives are not used in sport instructions and the maxims of quantity and manner are flouted equally in the selected data with a ratio of (50%) for both. Other maxims are not flouted at all and that is justified by the certainty of the speaker in providing his information and that his speech is related and there is no use of different topics and that refers to the unique ideas and seriousness of the topic (sport).
