يهدف البحث إلى التعرف على فاعلية استراتيجية الكرسي الساخن في تنمية مهارة التحدث لدي طلاب الصف الثالث المتوسط ولهذا الهدف استخدم الباحث المنهج التجريبي ذي التصميم شبة التجريبي، وتكونت عينة البحث من (٤٤) طالبا تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية العنقودية. وتم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين متساويتين أحداهما تجريبية والأخرى ضابطة، كما صمم الباحث مواد البحث وأدواته المتمثلة في أعداد قائمة لمهارات التحدث المتاحة لطلاب الصف الثالث المتوسط، وأعداد دليل المعلم في تعليم مهارة التحدث وفق استراتيجية الكرسي الساخن، وأعداد اختبار شفوي لقياس مهارات التحدث واستخدام الباحث عددا من أساليب الحزم الإحصائية (SPSS) لتحليل نتائج البحث التي توصلت إلى أنه يوجد فرق دال إحصائيا عند مستوي دلالة (0.05) بين متوسطي درجات طلاب المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة في التطبيق البعدي لاختبار مهارة التحدث في وحدة من منهج اللغة الإنجليزية للصف الثالث المتوسط لصالح طلاب المجموعة التجريبية، إضافة إلى فاعلية استراتيجية الكرسي الساخن في تنمية مهارة التحدث لدي طلاب الصف الثالث المتوسط وفي ضوء ما أسفرت عليه النتائج، اقترح الباحث مجموعة من المقترحات منها أجراء بحث للتعرف علي فاعلية الكرسي الساخن في تنمية مهارة التحدث لدي المتعلمين في المرحلتين الابتدائية والثانوية وتعرف مدي تمكن معلمي اللغة الإنجليزية من تصنيف استراتيجيات التدريس الفعالة، وبالأخص استراتيجية الكرسي الساخن.
This researcher aims at identifying the effectiveness of the strategy of the Hot chair in developing the skill of speaking for the third graders of the intermediate school. The reaches adopt the quasi-experimental approach. The sample consists of (44) students, chosen randomly. They were divided into two equal groups, one experimental and the other control. The researcher also designed research materials and tools represented in preparing a list of speaking skills available to third-grade intermediate students, preparing a teacher's guide in teaching speaking skills according to the hot chair strategy, preparing an oral test to measure speaking skills, and the researcher's use of a number of Methods of statistical packages (spss) to analyze the results of the research which concluded that there is a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) between the mean scores of the students of the experimental and control groups in the post application of the speaking skill test in a unit of the English language curriculum for the third intermediate grade for the benefit of the experimental group students, in addition to the effectiveness of the hot chair strategy in developing the speaking skill of third grade intermediate students, and in light of the results of the results study, the researcher proposed a set of proposals, including conducting research to identify the effectiveness of the hot chair in developing the speaking skill of learners in the primary and secondary levels and to know the extent of English language teachers rated effective teaching strategies, especially the Hot Chair strategy.
