المستخلص: يعتبر مقرر قواعد الموسيقى العربية ذو أهمية قصوى في الدراسة الموسيقية للطلاب فهو يعتبر حجر الأساس الذي يبني عليه العديد من مقررات الموسيقى العربي بالإضافة الى انها كمادة علمية زاخرة، بالكثير من المقامات العربية وفصائلها وأساليب تصويرها، وقد لاحظت الباحثة ان الأساليب المعتادة في تدريس هذا المقرر تعتمد على أسلوب التلقين والاستقبال وتهتم بإعطاء المعلومات للمتعلم في صورة مباشرة وصريحة مما يفقده فرصة المشاركة والتفاعل بإيجابية ويجعله يجيد الاستماع الحفظ والترديد دون اكتشاف قدراته ومواهبه المختلفة مما دعي الباحثة الى استخدام نظرية برونر (التعلم بالاكتشاف في تدريس هذا المقرر والتي تؤكد على أن ما يكتشفه الطالب بنفسه من حقائق علمية ومفاهيم وما بينها من علاقات يعتبر أكثر فائدة له أن ما يكتشفه الطالب بنفسه من حقائق علمية ومفاهيم وما بينها من علاقات أكثر فائدة له وتدوم في الذاكرة لفترة أطول من المعلومات التي يحفظها كما انها تتيح له الفرصة لاكتشاف المعرفة بنفسه تحليلها مقارنتها واكتشاف العلاقة التي تربطها ببعضها البعض وذلك عن طريق قيامه بأنشطة ذاتية موجهة من قبل المعلم في المواقف التعليمية المختلفة. واشتمل هذا البحث أيضا على مشكلة البحث وأهداف البحث وأهمية البحث عينة البحث والمصطلحات، الإطار النظرى الإطار التطبيقي الذي يتضمن البرنامج المقترح من قبل الباحثة نتائج البحث وتحليلها واختتم البحث بالمراجع والتوصيات وملخص البحث عربي انجليزي.
