المستخلص: يهدف البحث الحالي إلى تعرف مفهوم تقبل الآخر، وطبيعة العلاقة بين تقبل الآخر وكل من المناخ الأسري ونوعية الحياة. وأيضا معرفة الفروق في تقبل الآخر وفقا الجنس والمكان (بدوي-حضري). بهدف البحث المتعمق للكشف على العوامل المؤثرة في تقبل الآخر. وتكونت العينة من (٣٠٠) طالبا، بمدرسة العذبي الصباح بنين ضمن المدارس الثانوية الحكومية بدولة الكويت. وأستخدم البحث الأدوات الأتية: مقياس تقبل الآخر للمراهقين، مقياس نوعية الحياة للمراهقين (إعداد الباحث)، مقياس المناخ الأسري (إعداد: أ.د علاء الدين كفافي)، اختبار ساكس لتكملة الجمل الناقصة (إعداد: جوزيف ساكس، تعريب: أ.د أحمد عبد العزيز سلامة)، مقياس التوافق النفسي (إعداد: أ.د زينب شقير)، وتوصل البحث إلى النتائج الأتية: وجود علاقة ارتباطية دالة موجبة بين تقبل الآخر وبين المناخ الأسري. وجود علاقة ارتباطية دالة موجبة بين تقبل الآخر وبين نوعية الحياة. وجود فروق بين الجنسين في بعض أبعاد تقبل الآخر وعدم وجود فروق في أبعاد آخري وكانت الفروق في الوضع الأفضل لصالح الذكور. وجود فروق بين طلاب البدو وطلاب الحضر في تقبل الآخر وكانت الفروق في الوضع الأفضل لصالح الحضر. وجود فروق بين الجنسين في بعض أبعاد المناخ الأسري وعدم وجود فروق في أبعاد آخري. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الجنسين في نوعية الحياة في الوضع الأفضل لصالح الذكور. وتكشف نتائج البحث عن: التأثيرات السلبية للمناخ الأسري في تدني مستويات تقبل الآخر، وجود عوامل مؤثرة على تقبل الآخر. وجود اضطراب في البناء النفسي لحالات العينة الباثولوجية.

The current research aims to identify the concept of accepting the other, the nature of the relationship between the acceptance of the other and both the family climate and the quality of life. And also to know the differences in the acceptance of the other according to gender and place (Badawi-Urban). For the purpose of in depth research to detect factors that influence the acceptance of the other. The sample consisted of (300) students at al-Azby Al-Sabah School of Public Secondary Schools in Kuwait. The research used the following tools as a measure of the acceptance of adolescents, the measure of the quality of life of adolescents (prepared by the researcher), the family climate scale (prepared by A.D. Daladdin Kafafi), the Sax test to supplement the missing sentences (prepared by: Joseph Sachs, Arabization: A.D. Ahmed AbdulAziz Salameh), the measure of psychological compatibility (prepared by A.D. Shaqir Zeinab), and the research reached the following conclusions: a positive correlation between acceptance of the other and the family climate. A positive correlation between the acceptance of the other and the quality of life. The existence of gender differences in some dimensions of acceptance of the other and the absence of differences in other dimensions and the differences in the situation were better in favor of males. There were differences between Bedouin and urban students in accepting the other and the differences in the situation were better in favour of the urban. There are gender differences in some dimensions of the family climate and there are no differences in others. The existence of statistically significant differences between the sexes in the quality of life in the best position in favour of males. The results of the research reveal: the negative effects of the family climate in the low levels of acceptance of the other, the presence of factors affecting the acceptance of the other. Disturbance in the psychological construction of pathological sample conditions.
