لاحظت الباحثة إثناء عملها في الروضة إن هناك مجموعة من المعلمات يلجأن إلى استخدام أساليب مختلفة قد تكون بعضها مرغوب فيها وبعضها غير مرغوب فيها لذا ارتأت الباحثة الكشف عن الأساليب المستخدمة من معلمات الرياض في مواجهة ضغوط الحياة، كونها تعمل في رياض أهلية أو حكومية أو كونها متزوجة أو غير متزوجة، فضلا عن التحصيل العلمي لهذه المعلمة. ولتحقيق أهداف البحث: قامت الباحثة بإعداد مقياس أساليب مواجهة ضغوط الحياة للمعلمات وتم التأكد من صدق فقرات المقياس من خلال عرضه على مجموعة من الخبراء في هذا المجال، واستخرجت القوة التمييزية لفقرات المقياس واستخرج الثبات لكل أسلوب، وتكون المقياس من خمسة اساليب (التقويم الايجابي من (5) فقرات، التجنب والهروب من (17) فقرة، تقبل المسؤولية (6) فقرات، اللجوء إلى الدين (9) فقرات، الانسحاب (7) فقرات(. وبعد معالجة البيانات إحصائيا توصل البحث الى النتائج الآتية: 1- إن معلمات الرياض يستخدمن جميع أساليب ضغوط الحياة. 2- إن معلمات الرياض من المتزوجات وغير المتزوجات يستخدمن أسلوب الانسحاب وأن المعلمات المتزوجات يستخدمن أسلوب الهروب وتجنب المشكلة أكثر من المعلمات غير المتزوجات. 3- إن معلمات الرياض يستخدمن جميع الأساليب الخمسة تبعا لمتغير التخصص. 4- إن معلمات رياض الأهلية أكثر استخداما لأسلوب الهروب وتجنب المشكلة من معلمات الرياض الحكومية.
