It is a methodological study that aims to highlight the structuralist approach as a scientific method. Identifying beyond ethnological research designed with structural-functionalist or Marxist approaches or with actionist or interactionist approaches, our subject is interested in the structuralist approach as a methodological reference. Levi-Strauss insists on the fact that structuralism is a method and not a theory and that structural analysis can only be envisaged in the field of cultural production, namely: themes such as kinship as a cultural system, myths and art. For Levi-Strauss, it is rather useful and relevant in the field of cultural production. Thus culture will be considered as a system of significant gaps and that all cultural production is subject to an operating logic and an order which marks the human mind. Indeed, the structuralist method is "an efficient analysis" and "a scientific convenience" which largely allows to account for the complexity of the phenomena of cultural production and its syncretic and transformational character. C’est une étude méthodologique qui vise à mettre en exergue l’approche structuraliste comme méthode scientifique. Cerner au-delà des recherches ethnologiques conçues avec des approches structuro fonctionnalistes ou marxistes ou encore avec des approches actionistes ou interactionnistes, notre sujet s’intéresse à l’approche structuraliste comme référence méthodologique. Lévi-Strauss insiste sur le fait que le structuralisme c’est une méthode et non pas une théorie et que l’analyse structurale n’est envisageable que dans le champ de la production culturelle à savoir: des thématiques comme la parenté comme système culturel, les mythes et l’art. Pour Lévi- Strauss, elle est plutôt utile et pertinente dans le champ de la production culturelle. Ainsi la culture sera considérée comme un système d’écarts significatifs et que toute production culturelle est soumise à une logique de fonctionnement et un ordre qui marque l’esprit humain. En effet, la méthode structuraliste est «une analyse efficace» et «une commodité scientifique» qui permet largement de rendre compte la complexité des phénomènes de la production culturelle et de son caractère syncrétique et transformationnel. |
