المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى درجة ممارسة معلمي المدارس الحكومية بالمحافظات الجنوبية من فلسطين لدورهم في إعداد طلبتهم لمجتمع المعلوماتية من وجهة نظر مديري المدارس، وبناء تصور مقترح لتطويره، وقد استخدم الباحث المنهجين الوصفي، والبنائي، وتكونت أداتا الدراسة من الاستبانة والمجموعة البؤرية، حيث تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع مديري ومديرات المدارس البالغ عددهم (414) مديرا ومديرة، وبلغت عينة الدراسة (203) مديراً ومديرة، وبعد تحليل نتائج الدراسة وتفسيرها توصلت الدراسة إلى أن درجة ممارسة معلمي المدارس الحكومية بالمحافظات الجنوبية من فلسطين لدورهم في إعداد طلبتهم لمجتمع المعلوماتية من وجهة نظر مديري المدارس جاءت بدرجة )كبيرة(؛ حيث بلغ المتوسط الحسابي له (3.88)، والوزن النسبي (77.64%)، وأنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05 ≥α) بين متوسطات درجات تقدير أفراد عينة الدراسة لدور معلمي المدارس الحكومية بالمحافظات الجنوبية من فلسطين في إعداد طلبتهم لمجتمع المعلوماتية تعزي لمتغير المؤهل العلمي، وسنوات الخدمة، بينما توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية لمتغير الجنس لصالح الإناث. ومن أهم التوصيات التي توصلت إليها الدراسة الحالية هي: الإيعاز لجهات الاختصاص بوزارة التربية والتعليم العالي بفلسطين، بضرورة التركيز على تعزيز قدرات المعلمين، وتطوير ممارساتهم التكنولوجية بما يتماشى مع متطلبات العصر الرقمي، بما ينعكس إيجابيا على مصلحة الطلبة، وتحقيق الغايات التربوية المنشودة.

The study aimed at: 1) identifying the degree to which governmental school teachers in the southern governorates of Palestine practice their role in preparing their students for the information society from the perspective of school principals, and 2) building a suggested proposal for developing that role. The researcher used the descriptive and constructive methods. The tools of the study were the questionnaire and focus group. The population of the study consisted of all (414) governmental school male and female principal. The sample of the study consisted of (203) male and female school principals. After analyzing and interpreting the results of the study, the researcher got the following results: 1. The degree to which governmental school teachers in the southern governorates of Palestine practice their role in preparing their students for the information society from the perspective of school principals was high. The mean score was (3.88) and the relative weight was (77.64%). 2. There were no statistically significant differences at (α ≥ 0.05) among the mean scores of the sample's assessments of the degree to which governmental school teachers in the southern governorates of Palestine practice their role in preparing their students for the information society due to the educational qualification and years of experience. 3. There were statistically significant differences at (α ≥ 0.05) among the mean scores of the sample's assessments of the degree to which governmental school teachers in the southern governorates of Palestine practice their role in preparing their students for the information society due to gender, i.e. in favor of female teachers. Among the most important recommendations reached by the current study are: Instructing the competent authorities of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Palestine, to focus on enhancing the capabilities of teachers and developing their technological practices in line with the requirements of the digital age, in a way that reflects positively on the interest of students, and to achieve the desired educational goals.
