المستخلص: Cet article représente l’aboutissement d’une enquête que nous avons débutée en 2018, il est considéré comme étant le fruit de notre travail de recherche en mettant l’accent sur les résultats obtenus tout en les analysant. La présente contribution met en exergue la politesse et la violence verbales ; ce sont deux sujets qui demeurent d’actualité ; et cela à travers plusieurs situations de communication poussant le locuteur à choisir un terme d’adresse donné qui peut être soit adéquat soit inapproprié pour diverses raisons relatives à la volonté et à l’intention du locuteur ou même à l’interprétation de l’interlocuteur. Nous avons jugé nécessaire d’écrire cet article afin de présenter la démarche que nous avons adoptée lors de la préparation de ce travail de recherche.

This article represents the outcome of an intense research that has been going on since 2018. It is considered as a product of our project through highlighting the obtained results and their analysis. It sheds light on courtesy and verbal violence; these two subjects are controversial, they always exist in our society through various communicational situations. It pushes the speaker to choose either an appropriate or inappropriate term of address depending on the willingness and the intention of the speaker or the interpretation of the receiver. It was very crucial from us to write this article in order to show the procedures taken through the preparation of this project.
