Algeria is rich in a large number of Islamic cities, which was established in different historical periods, some of which remained legged life since its inception, despite the different successive states it, others gradually disappeared and turned into piles of building materials accumulated sand and dust and shielded from view, which applies to Marsa El Djaje City. This city is one of first cities in Central Meghreb, it flourished in the Fatimid and Zirid and Hammadi, it began to deteriorate until destroyed by the conflict, which was in the Covenant Of the Almohads during the 5th century AH /11th century AD, main advantage was that it has maintained its original buildings because it didn't witness a significant population stability after this period." |
