تهدف هذه المقال إلى توضيح مكانة ودور الأستاذ الجامعي داخل المنظومة الجامعية، والقوانين التي تحدد مهامه، يعد الأستاذ الجامعي المحرك الرئيسي والأساسي في عملية التكوين الجامعي، وله تأثير كبير على سلوك وتوجهات الطالب من خلال ما يقدمه من معارف ومعلومات تساهم في تنمية الرصيد المعرفي للطالب، وذلك حسب كل تخصص مسؤول عن تدريسه وفي هذا المقال سنحاول شرح بعض المفاهيم والقوانين المتعلقة بالأستاذ الجامعي بالجامعة الجزائرية ومراحل تطورها، ودور الأستاذ في التأثير على البحث العلمي وأيضا دوره في المجتمع.

This article aims to clarify the position and role of the university professor within the university system and the laws that define his duties. The university professor is the main and fundamental driver in the university training process. He has a significant impact on student behavior and attitudes through his knowledge and information that contribute to the development of the student's knowledge balance according to each discipline he is responsible for teaching. In this article, we will try to explain some concepts and laws related to the university professor at the Algerian University and its stages of development, the professor's role in influencing scientific research, and his role in society.
