المستخلص: Meteorological sayings have been, over the last decades, the object of study and research in numerous cultures and languages of the world. Based on the indisputable reality of language as a faithful reflection of culture, and aware of the reality that this typology of sayings undoubtedly forms a rich and extensive section within the general proverb, we have decided that the objective of this study is to collect, analyze and translate into Spanish the sayings referring to the cultural concepts of Al-marba‘āniy-yeh, al-jamsiniy-yeh and al-mistaqradāt in the proverbs of Jordan and Palestine. It is also intended to reveal the ethnographic value that such sayings accumulate.

Los refranes meteorológicos han sido, a lo largo de las últimas décadas, objetivo de estudio e investigación en numerosas culturas y lenguas del mundo. Basándose en la indiscutible realidad de la lengua como fiel reflejo de la cultura, y conscientes de la realidad de que esta tipología de refranes forma, sin duda alguna, un rico y extenso apartado dentro del refranero general, hemos decidido que el objetivo de este estudio sea recopilar, analizar y traducir al castellano los refranes referidos a los conceptos culturales de al marba‘āniy-yeh, al jamsiniy-yeh y al mistagradāt en los refraneros de Jordania y Palestina. También se pretende revelar el valor etnográfico que acumulan tales paremias.
