المستخلص: In an attempt to avoid the repercussions of the recent global financial crisis, Algerian authorities has revamped some laws and regulations governing the banking system as a whole and an internal control in particular, by issuing in 2011 the regulation n°08/11, which canceled its predecessor. Through this study, we tried to shed light on the extent of the Popular Credit of Algeria, to the requirements, by evaluating the measures taken, the structures put in place, where we concluded that was a weakness and slowing down of its application, not putting in place all the required components, plus the merger of some of them.
