|b Arabic poetry has gone through several stages through the eras, since the era of Islam until the nowadays, it is on its way to creativity and development, and the poems brought about a number of changes which affected the poetic self that was influenced by the environment and the culture of the era, we find a difference in the topics on which the poets expressed their ideas and experiences, so each poet has his own temperament that distinguishes him from others, and each poet has special features in his style in poetic image, which makes every poet different from the other, hence the importance of studying poetic image in the poetry of any poet, by studying the poet’s poetic image style and analyzing his language and poetic composition, his position among the poets of his generation is determined, and It also represents the study of the poet’s creativity in his literature and art. Thus, comes the aim of the research, it deals with the poetic image and its application in the poet’s work. I chose the poet Wahab Shareef for several reasons, including the diversity in hispoetry, not only at the level of the poem’s diversity, as it was written in the vertical poem, the metaphor poem, and the prose poem, but the diversity was present within the single poetic form. Rather, the diversity was present within the single poetic form, which provides an aesthetic space for criticism, research and exploration, striving at the same time to explode the linguistic components and highlight the aesthetic values of each literary text, thus, the title of the research is the poetic image in the poetry of Wahab Shareef (The collection of Mazameer as a model .Hence, the research in the first section is devoted to studying the characteristics of the pictorial construction, the sources of photography in its experimental and cultural branches, and the second study is devoted to the elements of the formation of the artistic image, while the third section examined the relations of analogy (simile, metaphor), and the fourth study is devoted to the relations of association (metonymy). The description is the most important purpose of poetry and is more specific to its arts, and the more poetry in the language and effects of a poet, the more it indicates their artistic sophistication. So, the landscapes of nature, and the masterpieces of the views in general are among the most influential factors on the poet's soul and stirring its emotion, sending it to say, and the description in Arabic poetry is abundant on various topics. In the hands of the great Arab poets, they reach the utmost mastery. Our poets have often freed themselves from the shackles of praise, mourning, and introductory lineage-whatever their adherence to these heavy chains that chained Arabic poetry and they described a trace of nature or civilization, so they created and satisfied art many times what they satisfied with exaggeration of praise, lamentation, and the alleged lineage. In the end, we conclude from an explanation of the metaphor for our poet Wahab Shareef, it became clear that the poet was a poet of a picture, so he excelled in drawing the artistic image using beautiful metaphors and simple linguistic terms that made it adorned like pearls in his poetry and waved with strength and movement for the recipient. The portrayal of the poet was full of emotions and feelings and tried to draw the mind and introspection of the recipient to each of his poems to explode his emotional energy, achieving his goal of concealing behind hidden meanings.
