المستخلص: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تعرف دور الدراسات البينية في تحقيق التكامل المعرفي لطلبة الجامعات في ضوء مضامين رؤية المملكة العربية السعودية 2030م، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (300) عضو هيئة تدريس بجامعة الملك خالد من مختلف الكليات كلية الشريعة وأصول الدين، والعلوم، والتربية والعلوم الإنسانية، والعلوم والآداب بمحافظة أحد رفيدة، والعلوم والآداب بمحافظة سراة عبيدة، والعلوم والآداب بمحافظة ظهران الجنوب اختيروا بالطريقة العشوائية، وقد جمعت بيانات الدراسة من خلال استبانة صممها الباحث مكونة من (13) فقرة، وقد توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى ضرورة العناية بالدراسات البينية في مؤسسات التعليم الجامعي بالمملكة العربية السعودية لدورها البارز في تحقيق التكامل المعرفي لدى الطلاب في ضوء مضامين رؤية المملكة العربية السعودية 2030م، وأهمية العمل التكاملي بين المتخصصين لدعم الدراسات البينية وتحقيق الأهداف المرجوة منها. وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة أوصى الباحث بضرورة إعادة النظر في البرامج الجامعية بما يحقق التكامل بين التكامل المعرفي بين مختلف العلوم والفنون، وضرورة إجراء دراسة للتعرف على أبرز معوقات تنفيذ الدراسات البينية في مؤسسات التعليم الجامعي وآليات التغلب عليها، وأهمية إجراء دراسات مقارنة بين عدد من التجارب الدولية المميزة في مجال الدراسات البينية وبين تجربة بعض مؤسسات التعليم الجامعي بالمملكة العربية السعودية.

This study aimed at identifying the role played by interdisciplinary studies in achieving knowledge integration for undergraduate Students in the Light Implication of the Saudi's Vision 2030 among Saudi universities students in the light implication of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 that is from King Khalid University faculty's perspectives. The study sample consisted of (300) staff members, who work in King Khalid University, of College of Sharia Islamic theology and Islamic studies, College of Social studies, and College of Art and Sciences at Ahad Rafidah, Sarat Abidah, and Dhahran Al Janub who were selected by the random sample method. A questionnaire of (13) items was prepared and designed by the researcher to collect data of the study. The findings of the study revealed the necessity of paying needing attention to include Interdisciplinary Studies in Saudi higher education institutions because of their prominent role in achieving knowledge integration among Saudi Universities students in the light implication of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. The study also casted new light on the importance of consolidative, combinative and unifying work among specialists in order to support interdisciplinary studies as well as achieving the desired goals. Hence, in the light of results of the current study, the researcher recommended that, it is necessary to reconsider spectra university programs in order to achieve integration between theoretical and applied programs and courses. Moreover, it is necessary to identity the notable impediments in Saudi higher education institutions and mechanism to tackle them besides carrying out some comparative studies among a number of distinguished and outstanding international experiences in the domain of Interdisciplinary Studies and Saudi higher education institutions.
