|a "يقدم هذا البحث دراسة حول استعمال طلبة جامعة الكويت للمعاجم العربية الإلكترونية أحادية اللغة، وذلك باستخدام منهج مسحي وصفي يستند إلى نتائج إحصائية حول مجموعة من المحاور تدور حول حجم استخدام الطلبة لتلك المعاجم، وطبيعة ذلك الاستخدام، ثم تقييمهم لقدرات مثل تلك المعاجم، وتطلعاتهم التي يأملون أن تتوافر فيما يقدم من أعمال عربية معجمية إلكترونية، والهدف من ذلك العمل على تطوير المناهج الجامعية التي تختص بالدراسات المعجمية، ومساعدة صناع المعاجم في تطوير أعمالهم الإلكترونية بما يتناسب مع احتياجات مستعمليها من فئة الطلاب الجامعيين. هذا وقد توصل البحث إلى نتائج مهمة من أبرزها وجود إقبال كبير من الطلاب على استعمال المعاجم الإلكترونية بشكل يفوق المعاجم الورقية، ورضاهم عن طريقة البحث الميسرة التي تقدمها المعاجم الإلكترونية، علاوة على استحسانهم لطريقة شرح معاني المداخل المعجمية والمعلومات المقدمة حولها، ويأملون تقديم مزيد من تلك الشروح والمعلومات الشمولية المتعلقة بها، علاوة على نتائج أخرى نحيلكم إلى تفاصيلها في متن البحث."

|b "In this research, I try to answer the research an important research question: To what extent do Kuwait University students use monolingual Arabic electronic dictionaries? The answer to this question requires the use of a descriptive survey method, based on statistical results on a set of axes that revolve around the extent to which students use electronic dictionaries, the nature of that use, and then users' evaluation of the functions of these dictionaries, and their aspirations, which they hope will be available in the presented Arabic electronic lexical works. This research aims to 1) try to develop university curricula that are specialized in lexical studies; and 2) help lexicographers improve their electronic works in line with the needs of their university student users. Among the most important results explained in this research, for example: 1) the presence of a high demand from students to use electronic dictionaries in a way that exceeds paper dictionaries; 2) and their satisfaction with the easy research method provided by electronic dictionaries; 3) in addition to their approval of the method of explaining the meanings of lexical entries and the information provided about them; and 4) They also look forward to providing more of these explanations and comprehensive information related to them; in addition to other results that we refer to in detail in the body of the research."
