|a يسعى البحث إلى الوقوف على الصين كقوة صاعدة وموقعها الحالي في النسق الدولي، حيث سعت الصين منذ انتهاء الحرب الباردة إلى اتباع سياسات تسعى من خلالها إلى إحداث تحول في بنية النسق الدولي. وفي عام 2013، طرحت الصين مبادرة الحزام والطريق كأحد أهم تلك السياسات في القرن الحادي والعشرين. ويناقش البحث أولا أهداف الصين –كدولة صاعدة-من خلال طرحها لمبادرة الحزام والطريق وما تتضمنه من أهداف بعيدة المدى لها تداعيات على إحداث التحول في هيكل النسق الدولي من آحادي القطبية إلى نسق متعدد الأقطاب أو إلى الوصول إلى حالة من اللاقطبية في النسق الدولي. ثانيا يناقش البحث عددا من الآليات السياسية والاقتصادية والدعائية والاستراتيجية التي اتبعتها الصين لتحقيق تنافسية قطبية متعددة. إضافة إلى ذلك، يناقش البحث الفرص والمكاسب التي يمكن أن تحققها الصين كقوة صاعدة في النسق الدولي في القرن الحادي والعشرين من خلال طرحها لمبادرة الحزام والطريق من ناحية، ومن ناحية أخرى، التحديات التي تشكل عائقا أم الصين إزاء هدفها المأمول من وراء المبادرة، ألا وهو تعددية قطبية أو خلق حالة من اللاقطبية في النسق الدولي، ثم مواقف القوى الدولية والإقليمية المعنية بالمبادرة كالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وروسيا واليابان والهند والاتحاد الأوروبي وفقا لمعايير مختلفة، وأخيرا، يقدم البحث عددا من السيناريوهات والتصورات المستقبلية التي تحدد موقع الصين كقوة صاعدة في النسق الدولي في القرن الحادي والعشرين.

|b The research seeks to identify China as an emerging power and its current position in the international system. Since the end of Cold War, China has sought to pursue policies through which it seeks to effect a transformation in international system’s structure. In 2013, China put forward the Belt and Road Initiative as one of the most important such policies of the 21st century. The research first discusses China's goals - as an emerging country - through its proposal for the Belt and Road Initiative and its long-term goals that have repercussions on transforming international system’s structure from a unipolar to a multipolar one or to reach a non-polarity status in the international system. Second research debates a number of political, economic, propaganda and strategic mechanisms that China has followed to achieve multi-polar competitiveness. In addition, the research explores the opportunities and gains that China can achieve as a rising power in the international system in the 21st century through its proposal of the Belt and Road Initiative on the one hand, and on the other hand, the challenges that constitute an obstacle to China towards its hopeful goal behind the initiative which is multipolarity, or creating a status of non-polarity of international system. Then, following the positions of the international and regional powers concerned with the initiative, such as USA, Russia, Japan, India and EU, according to different criteria. Finally, the research addresses the most important future visions and scenarios that determine China’s position as a growing power in the international system in 21st century
