Focusing on the poetic language in which the narrative speech is formed about, the novel was able to establish a unique linguistic aesthetic. The basis of this aesthetic is in the mastering the core conflict between the ego and the other which at some point reaches to romance. The novel has investigated narcissism through its fictional language and with all its levels. The painful events and different places have further extended themselves to reach into the infrastructure of narrative. Moreover, the structure and function, adverbs, verbs, and adjectives of language have been used as signs to add something to the definition of narcissism. The writer’s emphasis on some points of the general situation is a good proof that she is really interested in embodying the ego and the other. So we find her paving the way for the conflicts happening within the self-including love, desire, memories, hope, and pride as positive groundwork to reach narcissism. Here, narcissism does not mean the case which is built upon the story, rather upon the growing intellectual conflict in the imagination and expectation of the ego and the other. Furthermore, it is built upon priorities of narcissism. In the end, it refers to establishing a closer link between the self and reality in a way enabling the self to have more fun with the poetic constructions which touch the experience of feeling of the self. Therefore, it leaves the language of this experience to be narcissistic either to the ego or the other. |
