The question of law and justice is always at the center of the literary works of the jurist Ferdinand von Schirach. Moreover, this problem has a long tradition within the classical canon. Many poetlawyers, such as Kleist, Goethe, Kafka, and Dürrenmatt, placed the focus of their works on this question. The relationship between law and literature seems to be of interest to Ferdinand von Schirach because he addressed law and justice both indirectly and directly in the focus of his works. This study examines the theme of law and justice in the works of the bestselling German author Ferdinand von Schirach and presents the play Terror (2015) as an example. I have chosen to do so because the subject matter of this play is highly relevant for our time. Moreover, it is considered a courtroom drama that belongs to documentary theater. This study is divided into three parts: introduction, main part and conclusion. The main part is divided into three parts: The first part deals with the best-selling author Ferdinand von Schirach and his literary work as a poet-lawyer, while the second part deals with the theme of justice in Ferdinand von Schirach. Finally, the play Terror was chosen for the third part in order to explore the main topic of the article, law and justice, in more detail. The selected play deals with a real legal issue that affects not only law students, but all of us. Morals, feelings, values and the law are interconnected. At the end of the paper, there is a brief summary and a presentation of the conclusions of the present work. Die Frage nach Recht und Gerechtigkeit steht immer im Mittelpunkt der literarischen Werke des Juristen Ferdinand von Schirach. Darüber hinaus hat diese Problematik eine lange Tradition im Rahmen des klassischen Kanons. Viele Dichterjuristen wie z. B. Kleist, Goethe, Kafka und Dürrenmatt legten das Augenmerk ihrer Werke auf diese Fragestellung. Das Verhältnis von Recht und Literatur ist einen Kernpunkt fast aller Werke Schirachs, weil er diese Problematik im Mittelpunkt seiner Werke mittelbar und unmittelbar manifestiert hat. Die vorliegende Studie untersucht das Thema Recht und Gerechtigkeit in den Werken des deutschen Bestsellerautors Ferdinand von Schirach und legt das Theaterstück Terror (2015) als Beispiel dafür vor. Ich habe mich dafür entschieden, da der Gegenstand dieses Stückes von größter Aktualität ist. Außerdem gilt es als ein Gerichtsdrama, das zum dokumentarischen Theater gehört. Diese Studie gliedert sich in drei Teile: Einleitung, Hauptteil und Schlussbetrachtung. Der Hauptteil ist in drei Teile unterteilt: Der erste Teil befasst sich mit dem Bestsellerautor Ferdinand von Schirach und seinem literarischen Schaffen als Dichterjurist, während der zweite Teil sich mit der Thematik der Gerechtigkeit bei Ferdinand von Schirach auseinandersetzt. Zuletzt wurde für den dritten Teil das Theaterstück Terror ausgewählt, um das Hauptthema des Beitrags Recht und Gerechtigkeit genauer zu eruieren. Das ausgewählte Theaterstück behandelt eine reale juristische Frage, die nicht nur Jurastudierende, sondern uns alle betrifft. Moral, Gefühle, Werte und das Recht sind miteinander verbunden. Darüber hinaus enthält es indirekte Kritik am Rechtswesen. Am Ende des Beitrags stehen ein kurzes Fazit und eine Darstellung der Schlussfolgerungen der vorliegenden Arbeit. |
