|a هدفت الدراسة الراهنة لتحديد العلاقة بين عوامل الشخصية وأساليب التنشئة الأسرية مع الخجل الاجتماعي في ضوء الفروق بين الذكور والإناث في مرحلة المراهقة، وكذلك الفروق في ضوء الفروق بين المراهقين في مرحلة المراهقة المبكرة مقابل المراهقين في مرحلة المراهقة المتأخرة، وقد ضمت العينة ٢٠٠ من الذكور و..٢ من الإناث بالمدارس الحكومية بمدينة الرياض، وتم استخدام مقياس العوامل الخمسة الكبرى للشخصية ومقياس أنماط التنشئة الأسرية ومقياس الخجل الاجتماعي وأظهرت النتائج وجود فروق دالة في عوامل الشخصية وأنماط التنشئة الأسرية وكذلك في مظاهر الخجل الاجتماعي بين الذكور والإناث، وكذلك بين المراهقين بإختلاف المرحلة التي يمرون بها، كما أشارت النتائج إلى قدرة تلك العوامل في الشخصية وأنماط التنشئة الأسرية بالتنبؤ بدرجة الخجل الاجتماعي لدى الذكور والإناث وتم مناقشة النتائج في ضوء الدراسات السابقة والنظريات النفسية.

|b The purpose of the present study was to determine the relationship be¬tween the big five personality factors and socializing type with the de¬gree of social shyness in light of the differences between males and fe¬males in adolescence, as well as differences among adolescenes in early adolescente stage compared with adolescents in adolescence delayed stage. our sample consists of 200 males and 200 females divided to (100 in grade and 100 12 grade) from public schools in Riyadh, we used a measure of the big five major factors , scale of patterns of family so¬cialization , scale of social shyness, results showed significant differ-ences in personality factors and patterns of family socialization types, as well as the manifestations of social shyness between males and fe¬males, also among adolescents in different adolescent stage they are going through, results showed the ability of those neuroticm factor extraversion factor, openness to experience, and style of extra protec¬tion as one of the patterns of family socialization predicts of the degree of social shyness among males and females. We discuss the results as¬sociated with previous studies and psychological theories.
