المستخلص: The use of information technology in institutions has greatly affected the work environment and the job performance of its workers, by increasing the ability to collect, store and retrieve information in a timely and effective manner, all of which is reflected in the efficiency and administrative effectiveness of institutions, and requires the process of building management information systems in health institutions More efforts and the commitment of the top management towards the process of quality and its continuous improvement, and the aim of the research is to identify the reality of the management information system, the extent of its availability in public hospitals in Kuwait, and the effect of management information systems on improving the performance of workers in public hospitals in Kuwait, and the research community consisted of a sample of managers and heads Departments and employees in a number of Kuwaiti public hospitals, their number is (183) single in the number of 6 public hospitals, and the research reached the following results: The requirements related to administrative information systems (physical, software, human, and organizational) are met. The information systems used in Kuwaiti public hospitals are compatible with the communication network. And computers, as well as compatible with the requirements of work, and this indicates the interest of Kuwaiti public hospitals in choosing the doctor Software that is compatible with the system’s equipment and meets the needs of work, and provides them in a timely manner, which have a significant impact on the completion of job tasks inside hospitals, and that the efficiency of these systems is the largest influence on the efficiency of the performance of employees in Kuwaiti public hospitals, and the requirements related to management information systems have affected obtaining On the data, organizing and processing it to obtain the information that the decision-makers benefit from in order to meet the needs of work in hospitals, and the research recommends working to enhance the hospital’s interest in using management information systems with all their requirements in a way that contributes to affecting the job performance of workers, while working on updating information systems periodically to keep pace with Constantly changing technological developments.

لقد أثر استخدام تكنولوجيا المعلومات في المؤسسات بشكل كبير على بيئة العمل والأداء الوظيفي للعاملين بها، من خلال زيادة القدرة على جمع المعلومات، وتخزينها واسترجاعها في الوقت المناسب وبطريقة فعالة وكل ذلك ينعكس على كفاءة المؤسسات وفعاليتها الإدارية، وتتطلب عملية بناء نظم المعلومات الإدارية في المؤسسات الصحية مزيدا من الجهود، والتزام الإدارة العليا نحو مسيرة الجودة وتحسينها باستمرار، وهدف البحث إلي التعرف علي واقع نظام المعلومات الإدارية، ومدى توفرها بالمستشفيات العامة بالكويت، وأثر نظم المعلومات الإدارية في تحسين أداء العاملين في المستشفيات العامة بالكويت، وتكون مجتمع البحث من عينة من مديري ورؤساء أقسام وموظفين بعدد من المستشفيات العامة الكويتية، وعددهم (183) مفردة في عدد 6 مستشفيات عامة، وتوصل البحث للنتائج التالية: توفر المتطلبات المتعلقة بنظم المعلومات الإدارية (المادية، البرمجية، البشرية، التنظيمية) فإن نظم المعلومات المستخدمة في المستشفيات العامة الكويتية تتلاءم وشبكة الاتصال وأجهزة الحاسب، وتتلاءم كذلك مع متطلبات العمل، وهذا يشير إلى اهتمام المستشفيات العامة الكويتية باختيار البرمجيات التي تتلاءم وتجهيزات النظام وتلبي حاجات العمل، وتوفرها بالوقت المناسب، والتي يكون لها تأثير كبير في إنجاز المهام الوظيفية داخل المستشفيات، وأن كفاءة هذه النظم هي أكبر مؤثر على كفاءة أداء الموظفين في المستشفيات العامة الكويتية، ولقد أثرت المتطلبات المتعلقة بنظم المعلومات الإدارية في الحصول على البيانات وتنظيمها ومعالجتها للحصول على المعلومات التي يستفيد منها متخذي القرار بما يلبي احتياجات العمل في المستشفيات، ويوصي البحث بالعمل علي تعزيز اهتمام المستشفيات باستخدام نظم المعلومات الإدارية بجميع متطلباتها بما يسهم في التأثير في الأداء الوظيفي للعاملين، مع العمل علي تحديث نظم المعلومات بصورة دورية لمواكبة التطورات التكنولوجية المتغيرة باستمرار.
